4×4NOMAD
The turning point

The night the prototype was completed, everything changed.

UP!GRADE had moved from an idea to a working prototype. On that same night, founder Nick Boldorea was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

01

Recovery came first

The accident left Nick unable to walk for approximately six months and was followed by nearly two years of recovery. Development stopped—not because the idea had reached its end, but because recovery had to take priority.

02

The work was preserved

The prototype, research, drawings and technical investigation were kept. The accident was not caused by the jacket, and the story is not presented as a safety claim. It explains why a working project did not proceed to market.

03

A new home for the idea

Today, 4x4Nomad provides a home for the project and for the possibility of revisiting it with modern technology, proper testing and the right partners.

04

The original journey did not end.

It changed direction.

“The original journey did not end. It changed direction.”
